The Rock bulked up for "The Fate of Furious". His normal workout routine is intense. He wakes up and drinks a cup of coffee. Then hits the gym at 4 or 5 am for 35-50 minutes of cardio. After breakfast, he does weight training for 90 minutes. For most moves he does 4 sets of 12 reps... With 60-90 seconds of rest in-between.
His favorite body part to train is legs. He usually trains six days a week, twice per day.
His weight goals change depending on the movie. For breakfast he usually eats beef and oatmeal. Throughout the day he has (chicken - steak fillets - egg whites - rice - asparagus - casein protein powder).
For "The Fate of the Furious" he gained 22 pounds. To gain weight he ate 6000 calories a day. All those calories were broken into seven daily meals. He went from 238 lbs. to 260 lbs. It's a huge difference.
